Dr. Zahrah founded MATSYS, Inc. in order to meet the specialized needs of DoD agencies for advanced powder metallurgy technologies. He has extensive experience in powder metallurgy, ranging from the design of both inert and reactive powder formulations, to the design and fabrication of consolidation processes and net-shape components using an array of new alloys and reactive materials. Dr. Zahrah has spearheaded the development and transition of numerous new materials and technologies for customers in both the Government and Commercial sectors.
