HfNbTaTiZr High Entropy Alloy Powder
Characteristics: High Entropy Alloy
Refractory high entropy alloy (RHEA) powder based on the quinary HfNbTaTiZr series of HEAs are reported extensively in literature to have excellent mechanical properties, especially at elevated temperatures, and to possess a single BCC structure. In addition to their potential for structural applications, the components of this alloy are biocompatible and can, therefore, also be considered for biomedical implant applications.
This mechanically alloyed powder material is available in bulk and may be manufactured into articles using powder metal-based processes, such as hot isostatic pressing (HIP) and additive manufacturing (AM).
Composition
The standard composition includes 20% of each Hf, Nb, Ta, Ti, and Zr. Other compositions are available upon request.
Quantities
Standard packaging is 100g, 500g, and 1 kg. Other quantities are available upon request.
